Limited Warranty Overview
RS Wheels warrants that its wheels carry a period of 5-year structural integrity and a 3-year cosmetic finish warranty, except under conditions listed in the Warranty Exclusions section below.
Under this warranty, RS Wheels will be held accountable only to replace or repair wheels that fall under the defective category. RS Wheels will only be liable for repairing or replacing the defective wheel and is free of any collateral damages.
All warranty wheels must be inspected by RS Wheels. Wheels covered by our warranty will be replaced or repaired and returned to the sender. Wheels that fail to fall under coverage will incur a freight charge collected by RS Wheels.
When Does the Warranty Begin?
The warranty begins on the original retail purchase date. Proof of purchase may be required when submitting a warranty claim. The warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.
Warranty Coverage
With proof of proper care under RS Wheels Service Guidelines and no evidence of physical impact, the following defects are covered:
- Wheels with a radial/lateral run-out greater than 500 µm.
- Wheels with cracks that leak air.
- Imperfections on finish including peeling paint and paint bubbling.
Warranty Exclusions
The following conditions are not covered under the RS Wheels warranty:
- 01Structural damages due to installation, excessive off-road use, impact from accident, exceeding the load rating, or a combination of tire and wheels that does not follow factory guidance.
- 02Paint defects caused by installation, improper user treatment, physical impacts and damages, or corrosion from environment and chemicals.
- 03Warranty filed by a non-original owner.
- 04Wheels that do not meet the fitment guidance.
- 05Wheels with a previous history of repair, powder coating, or other refinishes.
- 06Wheels used with accessories that did not follow RS Wheels guidance.
- 07Wheels installed on a vehicle modified to a different suspension geometry compared to factory spec.
Wheel Maintenance
Proper maintenance is required to keep the wheel finish in good condition. Improper treatment will result in peeling clear coat and corrosion. To keep your warranty valid, the following measures must be observed:
Avoid sudden temperature changes
Extreme temperature changes on your wheel will cause disfigurement and unrepairable damage. Allow wheels to cool gradually after driving.
Clean with pH-neutral soap weekly
Always use non-detergent, pH-neutral soap to clean your wheels. Regular cleaning on a weekly basis prevents corrosion and maintains the finish.
Machined finishes are not for winter use
Specially machined and finished wheels are not recommended for winter use. Snow melt, road salt, and extreme humidity will accelerate corrosion and void your warranty.
